Today I spent the morning cleaning my meditation space in my home. Because it is in my sun room attached to house it gets pretty dusty. It is important to have a quiet place or corner in your home where you can do some yoga and meditation to clear out the dust in your mind and stretch your body. This place suits me well because it faces the east so I can watch the sunrise in the early morning while I do my yoga. If you come to yoga class you have the opportunity to practice with others and feel really great after the class. On the days when there is no class you can practice in your meditation space to keep the flow going between classes. I know someone who has their mediation space in the garage. They partitioned their garage so that there is a separate room that they get to from the garden. You could even have a meditation room in your garden for warm part of the year. I know someone else that had a large closet that they had ventilated and had climate controls installed as well as a sound system.. Now that can be extravagant.. But I think you get my point. You can have a space somewhere. | AuthorWrite something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview. ArchivesDecember 2011 Categories |
